Where is Vkomak Design Hub based, and do you work remotely?

We are the creative studio of Vkomak Technologies, based in Chennai and working with clients across India, the Gulf, the UK, Singapore and Australia. The overwhelming majority of our projects run remotely over video calls and shared files, which is exactly how the process is designed to work.

Do we get one point of contact?

Yes. Every project from the Gold package upward has a named art director who runs it end to end. You are not passed between account managers, and the person presenting the work is the person who made the decisions in it.

Can you work alongside our in-house marketing team?

Accepted Answer

Frequently, and it usually produces better work. We can lead a project entirely or act as the design partner while your team owns strategy and rollout, with shared files and an agreed working cadence.

What do you need from us to start?

A 45-minute discovery call, any existing brand material, and a decision-maker who can approve direction. Where content is involved — product data, copy, photography — we will send a structured checklist so nothing stalls mid-project.

Is your published pricing the final price?

For the packages as scoped, yes. The number only changes if the scope does, and we agree that in writing before proceeding. Add-ons are published individually so you can see exactly what an extension costs.

How does payment work?

Fifty per cent to begin and fifty per cent on delivery for project work. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. We accept bank transfer, UPI and major cards; international clients are invoiced in USD.

Do you offer refunds?

If you cancel before concept presentation, we refund the advance less work already completed, itemised honestly. After concepts are presented the advance is non-refundable, since the creative work has been delivered. Full detail is in our refund policy.

How many revisions do I get?

Unlimited refinement on the direction you choose. We do not count revisions, because a counter makes clients hoard feedback and settle for work that is nearly right. What we do ask is that feedback is consolidated into one response per round.

What if I do not like any of the concepts?

Accepted Answer

It is rare, because the audit and brief stages exist to prevent it — but if it happens, we run a further round of three directions at a reduced fee, using your feedback on the first set as input. We would rather do that than talk you into something you do not believe in.

Can you work to a hard deadline?

Yes, if you tell us the date up front. Rush scheduling is available on most services for a premium, and our AI branding sprint compresses a full identity direction into five to seven working days.

Do I own the final design?

Completely. On final payment, full copyright and ownership transfer to you in writing along with every source file. There are no ongoing licence fees, no usage restrictions and no situation where we hold your files.

What files will I receive?

Editable vector sources (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) plus raster exports at web and print resolutions, organised into clearly labelled folders. Web projects add design system files and developer-ready specifications.

Will you show our project in your portfolio?

Only with your permission. If a project is confidential or under embargo, tell us and it stays private indefinitely. We will always ask before publishing anything.

Do you use AI in your design work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, deliberately and transparently. AI is genuinely excellent at breadth — generating hundreds of directions in the time a manual sprint produces a dozen. It is poor at judgement, craft and knowing when something is derivative. So we use it for exploration, and our designers curate, redraw and finish everything that survives.

Is my logo going to be AI-generated?

No. Whatever direction you choose is rebuilt from scratch by a designer as production vector artwork with proper geometry and optical correction. Raw AI output is never delivered as a final logo — it is not built to the standard a mark needs to hold up at every size.

How do you check AI-assisted concepts are not derivative?

Accepted Answer

Shortlisted concepts go through reverse image search and trademark database checks before we present them. That is diligence, not legal clearance — for enforceable protection we recommend a formal trademark search with an attorney in your jurisdiction, and we will happily brief them.
